Thank You Cards
This past weekend Sean and I were given an engagement party to celebrate our engagement. So this week I am working on all of the thank yous that we will be sending out. I thought it would be easier to make a bunch that were all the same, but then I got bored and had to change it up after a while. This first card is super cute because it is all of my favorite colors that are nice and bright.
For this next card, I started off with only pink flowers. But Sean said this was his favorite card and that I should make hundreds... Too bad boys don't understand how long it takes to make one let alone a hundred. Anyway, so I took what he said and changed it up so that the flowers were yellow.

Even though Sean wanted me to make a hundred of this card, I think I need to change up my design and move on... I'll be working for the rest of the week on different Thank yous so be sure to check back. I am also going to take a stab at the wedding invites. I have quite a while to put them together so I am going to see exactly how difficult it will be to make my own... Who knows, I could give up and just give in and buy them. We'll see.

Summer Cards
What else is there to do in the summer when you don't have to work..... Stamp!!
Here are some cards I created for some new friends last weekend.
This stamp set, Flower Fest is not only featured in our Summer Mini, but it made its way into the new BIG Catalog.
If you haven't seen the new Pennants set you have to check it out! It also has a matching punch to make things even easier!
I have used this set a few times now and just love the little Kitty! This is in the Summer Mini, so if you like it, you'd better get it before its gone!
For me, summer is almost over. :-( So let me know if you would like to stamp and have a great time! Once school starts and I am back to reality, there is no telling what will come up.
Have a great day~

Scrapbook Central
It's that time of year again for me to put together scrapbooks for my seniors! Thankfully this year I only have 2.... Next year I have 6!!!!!
For those of you that have been to my house, you know that when you walk in my front door, you are met with a whole lot of NOTHING! Well, not any more. I have taken over the front room with my mess of paper and other stuff... My desk in my scrap room wasn't big enough and it was already a bit messy... So instead, I just created an even bigger mess downstairs... BUT I did finish my books!
Now it is operation clean up! Sean is helping a friend today so I am going to try and push through with out distractions and clean it up... Obviously that isn't working since I am posting on my blog rather than picking up the mess....
Oh well! Here are some pictures so you can see just how scattered it actually is....
When you walk in the door, this is what you are greeted with....

Way Too Long!
Wow! I can't even believe that it has been so long since I last posted. I guess that tells you how super busy I have been.... I have a lot of info to share so make sure to check out the whole post...
Well to start things off .... Here are my latest creations.... I did a little card class for Sean's mom and her friends and this is what they made....
Oh, and I started to figure out how to finally use my camera and take better close up pictures!!!
This card has some 3-D flowers that we cut out and we used the masking technique. I wasn't sure where it was going to go, but I love how it turned out.
This Card I stole from Becky Roberts blog. She always has wonderful ideas. Check her out if you haven't already....
Here is a close up on the flip flops. Anyone that knows me, knows that I LIVE in flip flops all year round.... Even in the snow...
For this card I used the new colored embossing powder in the Summer mini catalog.

I don't know how well you can tell, but its there :-)

I thought this stamp set was super cute. I didn't quite know what I would make with it, but this is one of the creations I came up with.

Each year on June 1st, the retired list is posted. Once these items are gone from the warehouse, they are gone for good. If you might want something on the list, get it before its too late.
You can click on the links below to see what will be retiring.
Let me know if you would like to order anything or you can check out my SU website and place an order through there.
One last thing.... (for now)
If you would like to pre-order a 2011-2012 catalog please email me at brightpinksprinkles@comcast.net
I will be getting the new catalogs in soon and I want to make sure I order enough. I had way too many extras this last year so I will be cutting back and I don't want anyone to get left out.
Have a great day!!!

Birthday Bash!
Last weekend, my friend Tami over on Finally Fit at Forty hosted a stamp party. If you haven't checked out her blog, make sure you take the time. She is amazing and has an awesome story to share. Anyway, her theme was Birthday cards! Here are a few of the cards we made. This one was inspired from Inking Idaho. The squares were punched out and then the entire background was run through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. I wish I took better pictures so you could really see how awesome it looks.
This card was my favorite! I saw something similar on a blog but couldn't remember where.... But I loved the pink color combo.
I Cased this one from a blog as well.... I tried to find it again so I could give credit, but wasn't successful, so if this is yours, let me know so I can add your name.
Happy Stamping and thanks for checking me out!

Babies, Babies, Babies!!!
Over the next few weeks, I know at least nine women that will be delivering little ones! Isn't that just crazy!! So as you could guess, this post is all about babies....
First up are these little cute treat boxes. I made around 20 of them for a shower we had for a fellow teacher at my school. I got the pattern for these at Chic' n scratch and they were super easy to make. I just rolled the onesies onto a piece of Whisper White card stock and used a blender pen to color them in. Then i just cut them out and used a dimensional to pop them up a little.

Here is the card I gave to my friend Michelle. She is expecting a little boy.... Actually, everyone I know is expecting boys....

This card was for Amy and her little one. She had a Monkey theme going on at her shower so what better than a monkey card.
Here is a close up of the punched monkey. I posted one similar to this on my blog last summer.

Workshop Card Set
As promised, for those fans following my Facebook status, here are the cards I made for a workshop last weekend.
This first one is one of my FAVORITES! It was really simple to do and the colors are really awesome together! I wish I could take better pictures so you could really see how bright the Pacific Point Blue really is. The stamp I used for this one is from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. For every $50 in product you spend, you get to pick from several fabulous stamp sets for FREE!
LOVE this card! I used the Build a Blossom stamp set and the fabulous punch that goes with it to make this card. It looks like it would be a lot of work, but with the coordinating punch, it was SO easy!

For this Birthday Card, I used Create a Cupcake and the build a cupcake punch! All of the stamped images have a coordinating punch!!! No more cutting! Even the little cherry has a matching punch spot!
For those that might not have a Big Shot yet, here is a little treat box that can be made simply by a few folds!
This card I snagged from a few different blogs. I saw this style on about 4 or 5 different ones, so I thought I'd create one my self.... I must admit it was a little tricky getting a picture of it because of the folds, it was hard to keep it closed...
My last little card is from something I saw on Becky Roberts blog. She is incredibly talented if you haven't seen her stuff!

I'm back!!!
Where have I been???
First of all, I want to send out a big THANK YOU to all my awesome stampers for all of your wonderful support over the past few months. Things haven’t been easy for me and I am so thankful for your understanding.
So….. Just to sum it all up, here is what has been up with me the last few months….
Most of you know that I am a High School Math teacher. At the beginning of the year I was asked to add on an additional class to meet the needs of students that could not take summer school. So my school day was extended and I was working from 6:30 am to 2:40 pm… But when you add on practice (Still coaching cheerleaders) that means I didn’t get off work until 4:30pm…. BUT if it’s a game day then I don’t get home until around 10 pm…. On top of that I had to find a new place to live… ASAP…. It took a while and a lot of stress, but I was able to find a new place

and be free from my former life.
Then came on the holidays and a new sports season started so that left me working 80+ hours a week and I was barely alive….
But with all that said, I can now say that I am BACK in life! I am so happy and am loving this new chapter I have started in life.
I should also mention that I have a new email address…. Since there is no more “rick” I thought it best to get rid of the old email address….
Here is the new one : brightpinksprinkles@comcast.net
